Disability-Specific Considerations

For over 23 years in the vehicle modification industry, Ride-Away has been assisting people with disabilities obtain their transportation needs.  Our knowledge and experience allows us to approach each situation professionally and educated on each type of disability and disorder.  We have the expertise and caring to get you back out into the community, doing the things and going
to the places that are important to YOU.

Below are some of the more common disabilities and disorders that our customers have, but they only represent a small selection of the clients we serve. Each section below describes the disability or disorder and its impact on a person's driving and/or transportation needs. The sections also describe possible modified vehicle equipment needs. It is important to note that the needs listed may not be applicable to everyone and that if you want to drive, a personal appointment with a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist is always recommended.
